Tesla paint is widely described by owners and installers as thin and soft compared with many other brands, and with no dealership PPF program, most cars leave the factory unprotected. Add Michigan's road salt, gravel shoulders and stop-and-go traffic on 96 and 275, and a new Model 3, Model Y, Model S, Model X or Cybertruck starts picking up rock chips and swirl marks fast.
Full Front coverage is the most common PPF package. Owners who want the paint untouched for the life of the car choose Full Body.

Real protection
Color PPF is thick, self-healing urethane. It stops rock chips and light scratches the way clear film does. Vinyl doesn't.
Paint-like finish
STEK and Pure color films have a smooth, paint-like look and a self-healing top coat that makes washing easier. STEK DYNO carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
Removable later
Like clear PPF, color film can be removed later, and the factory paint underneath stays protected the whole time.

Is ceramic coating worth it if I'm going to PPF the car anyway?
PPF and ceramic coating solve different problems. PPF stops chips and cuts. Ceramic coating keeps whatever PPF leaves exposed, like the roof, glass and wheels, easier to clean and more resistant to etching from bird droppings and brake dust. Most owners do both.
How fast can you get a new Tesla in after delivery?
Tesla owners are often on a tight timeline between delivery and daily driving, so we prioritize new-delivery bookings. We usually turn quotes around the same day.
